What began with hard work and a truck dash as a desk has grown into a thriving excavation company with a full office staff, multiple crews, and leadership that shares the same grit and vision that started it all.
From digging foundations to moving earth for major developments, we take pride in every job—big or small. Today, Josh King Excavation, LLC provides for dozens of families, and we're still growing at a steady, purpose-driven pace. We don’t just move dirt—we build solid ground for the future.
Our success comes down to one thing: heart. It takes dedication from every member of our team to keep us pushing forward. We believe in doing things right the first time, keeping safety at the forefront, and staying humble no matter how far we go.

About Josh
Founder Operator & Visionary
Josh King grew up around dirt work. From a young age, he was behind the controls, learning the ins and outs of excavation from the ground up. After years of hands-on experience and a strong work ethic built in the field, he decided to take a leap—starting his own company with one machine and a whole lot of hustle.
In the early days, his truck dashboard doubled as his office. He handled the bidding, the digging, and everything in between. That same drive still fuels the company today.
Josh leads with heart, grit, and a deep respect for the people who keep the wheels turning—his crew, his clients, and the community. He believes in doing the job right, treating people right, and staying true to your roots no matter how far you go.
When he’s not out with the company, you’ll find Josh spending quiet time on the farm—recharging, reflecting, and staying connected to the simple things that matter most.
